CD Order Update 8/27/07

We have not been able to supply the body with the outstanding CD orders for many months now, so we will keep this posting updated until we are able to fulfill the open orders.

We have removed the order form to update it and to have the body hold off ordering more CDs until we can fulfill old orders.

The initial issue was funding. Our orders have grown tremendously over the last year and the funding for our present distribution process has not kept up. Our funding and manpower was set up for up to approximately 200 CDs per month. Lately, we have been getting up to 1000 orders per month.

We are completely restructuring our duplication and distribution process. Since it is very expensive to duplicate and distribute (mail) our CDs that typically have 2 teachings per CD, we now know that we can convert Sam’s teachings to MP3. This reduces the file sizes such that we can get up to 140 teachings on one CD! So we are now converting all of his teachings to MP3 files. We already had them on MP3 on the website, but we are now modifying the CD MP3 version to reduce the file sizes. This does mean you will have to have an MP3 supported CD player. Most newer CD players now have MP3 capability. If you are needing to purchase a CD player with MP3, make sure it specifically says MP3 on it as they are still selling ones without.

We are also working out the packaging and bulk mailing processes to help reduce these expenses.

We don’t know yet how soon we will be able fulfill all of our back orders. The two CDs we are building have Sam’s teachings broken out into two categories. One has all of his studio teachings. This one is almost complete. The other has the best of his Local teachings. These have a lot of background noise that need a lot of editing. We are not sure yet when we will have this one done, however we will continue to update this note and keep you posted with the present status.
